Trademark Registration
A registered trademark turns your brand into a legally protected asset. We handle the full journey, from a clearance search to securing your ®, so you can build with confidence.
A trademark is any word, logo, slogan, shape or combination that distinguishes your goods or services from everyone else. In India, trademarks are governed by the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and examined by the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM). Registration grants you the exclusive right to use the mark, the ability to take legal action against copycats, and a valuable intangible asset you can license or sell.

What's included
Everything this service covers.
The process
How we get you protected.
Search and consultation
We run a clearance search on the trademark registry and advise on the right class and the strength of your mark.
Filing the application
We prepare and file the application with the correct class, specimen and applicant details. You can use the ™ symbol from this point.
Examination
The Registry examines the mark and may raise objections under Sections 9 and 11. We draft and file a reasoned reply.
Publication in the Journal
Once accepted, the mark is published for four months so third parties may oppose. We monitor and defend if needed.
Registration and ®
If unopposed, the certificate is issued. Your mark is protected for 10 years and you can now use the ® symbol.

You can use the ™ symbol as soon as you file, or even on an unregistered mark, to signal a claim. The ® symbol may only be used once the trademark is officially registered. Using it before registration is an offence.
Allotment of the application number is immediate. If there are no objections or oppositions, registration typically completes in roughly 8 to 18 months, depending on the Registry workload.
Identity and address proof of the applicant, the logo or wordmark, the business details, and for companies the incorporation proof. We share a simple checklist once we know your class.
Yes. If your brand spans goods and services in different classes, for example a clothing line and a cafe, you can file a single multiclass application or separate applications.
